Hey guys. So I’m in the middle of a cross country trip and my slave cylinder is leaking bad. I have a spare and was about to swap it out when I noticed he shaft is much longer than the new one. I’m thinking they send me the wrong part or it’s missing an attachment. Normally I’d take it apart and play around but I’m in eastern Wyoming and in the middle of nowhere, and it’s working well enough now with a bunch of brake fluid and shifting clutch less.

Meant to say the shaft is longer on the old one. Also it appears to be threaded.

They sent you the unit that's designed for the later model FJ60. (1986, 1987). You need the one for 1984 (1985?) and earlier. The newer model with the shorter rod won't work on the older cruisers.

AISIN CRT019 is the OEM (and the one you need). Any parts store should be able to cross ref if not in stock

Clutch master usually goes out about the same time. Check that too.

For 4/85 and earlier
