I’ve used the 3M paint and rust wheels on an angle grinder, prepare to go through some disks. Blasting is much easier -

Planning on moving it outside and washing with caustic soda and then ospho prior to paint. Thoughts?

if you’ve got it to that stage why not galvanize the frame and coat it with POR15? i did mine that way. it’ll never rust again!! it’s actually pretty easy to do and the galvanize was $400 ish. $500 total with the POR15 kit
mine is my first cruiser. it’s a 1977 sky blue. that colour has a special place in my heart for that reason!!

3 day turnaround on the frame. Hard to beat that

Powder on the frame. Primer and paint on the axles.
