Simple ignition starting wiring diagram (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys,
Would someone kindly point me to the simplest starter ignition wiring diagram for an 80 HDT j81 auto diesel 2 batteries 12 v . Simpler the better. Cheers Mike in Kenya

Here is a thread dealing with no start issues. There is a wiring diagram on post #16. Looking for a copy of the manual.

1hdt No Start problem

I went for a small drive up a power line road. Everything going fine. I park and walked around for a bit. And now she won't start! batteries are fine, i hear relays closing and opening when i turn the key but no crank. I've hiked down now and left the cruiser up there. Thought id post and see...

Much appreciate the time and effort . Quick silly? question
Is there an easy want to identify if I have a 12v or 24v system?
Without me crawling around under the car. Knees don't work to well these days.
I have twin batteries standard. They seem to be in parallel.

I have twin batteries standard. They seem to be in parallel.

They are in parallel normally, but get in series at start. The left-side battery (driver side in LH cars) is not grounded to the body. Instead, it goes to a big cylindrical relay (covered by a square, black plastic cap) where the conversion 12 to 24 v is made. That relay is besides the fuse box.
