I made the jump to FJ60 ignition components after suspecting my '79 distributor wasn't consistently distributing. So here's the potentially silly question: Do I NEED new plug wires for the new coil/ignitor & dissy? I bought new OEM plug wires for my '78 40 last year. All the threads I could find say you "might" want to buy new plug wires when doing this swap. Is there a difference between the '78 wires and the 8/80 and later wires?
