I'm in the northeast (upstate NY), there are no rock trails anywhere near me, so I don't a have a need for rugged, heavy-duty sliders; plus I'm not really interested in spending over a grand on rock sliders. I just want to replace my 2003 LC's dented side steps and figured I could go for something a little nicer looking. I've read through some other threads but a lot of the information is older, or more geared towards rock sliders.
I would even consider a direct replacement with OEM if someone within reasonable driving distance has a set they want to offload.
Aluminum construction and powder coated finish would be nice, but not a requirement. I'm not a big fan of tubular, but some are okay. My only hard requirements for aftermarket options are: Clears my Borla exhaust and installation requires no frame drilling, no cutting.
