So... my hard top side panels are rusted all the heck. Is the only real option replacement?
Side panels rusty... what are my options?

What I did is found a set of side panels form the western states. I got one from CA and one from AZ. If you take your time they can be found at a fair price.
Put a wanted ad on MUD.

The other option is have a sheet metal shop make a piece of metal to replace the rusted out part and weld it in. Odds are it won't be as strong as original,.

Man, I was JUST down in Texas last weekend. Could have picked this one up. Mine is for barn doors, though, not rear hatch. I'd have to deal with that, but that's a helluva deal. Thanks
