I have a 1980 that isn't terrible but has some holes and some pock-marking that needs addressing as part of the rebuild.

I'd like to see people's pictures of what you've done, how you did it etc.

If you patched in new metal, did you maintain that 'curve'? I have no special metal working tools, so no-go on bending a flange.

Let's see what you've got!

Rustproof it and add seam sealer. It’s should be good after that. Seam sealer will cover the pits which don’t seem bad.

Two part epoxy will work with the smaller pinholes and pits, have several I did over 25 years ago and no issues - but prepping the backside by converting any rust and then encapsulating is a must. Hard to get back there but needs to be done.

Better yet, braze with softer metal. I had an antennae hole just above the glovebox - had a friend braze a quarter of all things, 20 + years of abuse and still don't know exactly where I did that patch at. Sealed with epoxy primer - I that's the last critical step to ensure you don't get any moisture seeping into the patches....
