Denis,
Wayne used to love those 2lte's on here... always pro 2lte. But after having soo many fail with his customers, and reading on here, his opinion changed.

I watched Wayne's progression on this forum about those light duty cruisers.

I think it's misleading to say he would be pushing for the big end stuff. Cause I think there is more money for importers to make selling Prados.

You seem to enjoy your Prado, and that is great. But when we get too many posts on here with failures it's easier to warn someone than help them fix it later.

That's my 2 cents......

Well to finish off this thread I would like to say that I appreciate everyone's opinion's and add that Crusher's advice here (and the numerous other posts I've read of his on this site) seem honest and straight, he didn't offer up any other trucks when dissuading me from buying the Lj78 (even though i did ask people to) nor did he try to sell me anything at all and if you've read my posts you'll note I went and bought a frickin escape and you can be sure that nobody here made any money offa that decision (nor would anyone here have encouraged to me to buy it) but crushers at least saw a positive in my buying something with a factory warranty left on it...even it is is a ford. I feel very positive about the help I've recieved so let's ditch the negativity.
If you really want to keep this thread going how about offering up ideas on the ideal Land Cruiser for a trip from Vancouver Island to Central america?

Wayne, there's a difference between being cautious about the head issue, and shouting the whole engine series is an absolute hopeless piece of s***, again and again and again. A lot of people here take whatever you say as an irrefutable gospel, and cannot differenciate between information and seasoned comments.

when on importer here in Calgary has replaced 20 heads on the 30 units he has sold i would say that is proof enough to SHOUT they are garbage and stay away...
40% failure rate!! what more proof do you need??

Denis, use your head when you speak please, and don't insult me or my business with a statement like that.

When I advise people to stay away form prados it is because they are s*** - the same reason I dont sell them. You think I can make more money on an HZJ73 than a prado? Did you see what the prados were selling for in the past? People are and were making scads of cash off them because they were practically giving them away in japan.

So, think with your head and not your ass from now on and keep me and my company out of your conspiracy theories.

Damn Wayne, Denis is on to us and our scam - you know - the one where we tell every one that prados are s*** so they buy hzj73's instead. All those head cracking stories that we manufactured over the last 2 years are now wasted as denis is on to us. No wait those heads did really crack - ok, but it was a good try by us.

Looks like we are caught red handed telling people the truth - we are nothing but a bunch of coluding scammers.

Damn us all to hell.

Well everyone has said there bit in here on this issue. shaecky please start a new thread for which 70 series would make a good trip rig.

This thread is closed for now.
