shock question

trying to buy a pair of shocks for the rear of my cruiser..

has a 4" bds lift and sitting level eye to eye measures 23 1/2..

with a jack under one side compressed is 23 and extended is 24 ..

it does not seem like enough but everything is real stiff... anyway i am looking at bilstein 5100 or 5125's...

the 5100 compressed measurement is 15.91 and extended is 25.93 which does not seem like enough travel..

the 5125's are 17 compressed and 28 extended.. but then there is another value on the 5125's which is valving.. these are for the rear so i have no idea what valving to get..

175/60 or 255/70

This is some info i was able to find in regards to Bilstein Valving. eshocks also has some of the best prices for said shocks, so check that out too.
