As UPS likes to brake things like my new t-case If you ship or have someone ship to you thing like t-case, have the shipper put nuts on any threaded bolts as they will get damaged. Try to protect the flanges if you can too.
Pay for insurance, its worth it

If possible, I always thought bolting it to the pallet of wood block helps.

UPS sucks unless it's this one coming to see ya.
