Hi Everyone,

I have been looking and looking for, and not finding, shim spacer washers (or someone to make them) for front ASCO hubs on my 1977 FJ45.
Dimensions: about 0.5 mm thickness - 20 thou is good I think
Outside Diameter - 52 mm
Inside Diameter - 42.75 mm.
Any help in where to look or acquire them would be awesome.
Thanks

Thanks for those ideas - I have tried...
I asked John Smith several weeks back - no reply.
And unfortunately, the average machine shop cannot make the shims as they are too thin. Apparently the heat warps them excessively.
I have asked several shops.

That's frustrating.

Machine shops are all different. Those shims should be an easy job.

If you were nearby my machine shop I would make those for you while you waited, but since you aren't I recommend using Sendcutsend.com. you can draw the part on their site and you'll have it in a couple days. You can probably get 10 of those in stainless for the $29 minimum.

Thanks PIP - I will look into that site :)

I can't speak to the differences between Aisin and Asco hubs. I have heard they are similar but there are differences.
If I come across some Aisin hubs - I'll check it out.
