Overnight trip to Hale, possibly including a foray up to Sunrise. It will be on the 21st. Shouldn't be any crowds. Kid friendly event, as Clayton and his cousin from Denmark will be there.

If ya make it we will see you there and we'll have a fire going.

Garbage on arrival. Actually, the whole campsite was not too bad. Picked up a little litter, shotgun shells, and cleaned up/packed out the pile that was left in front of the garbage cans. The cans are full (mostly mt's) but did not have the room for it all. It's a few weeks yet to the next maintenance run, so hopefully most pack out.

Stretched the legs on the HJ61. Took the easy way in and out.

Water level is high. The one picture shows the bend you can usually drive around to get to the southern beach/camping area (Mat, wanna try it?).

Was just back into town and was headed to Birchwood to treat the kids to a ice creme before headed home to unpack and clean up. Yea, heat, freshet and rain. Great combo, but there is lots of room left: Graphical Data - Real-time Hydrometric Data - Environment Canada
