Does anybody have this rack on their rig? Would love to see more pictures other than what's on the website. I tried to do a search on the forums and couldn't find anything on the company. Are they any good?

Looks 99% like my Prinsu rack, that wind fairing looks a bit short and looks like it might whistle like Nukegoat say, but he has bad taste, that rack doesn't look bad.

Looks good to me. The mounts and side rails look beefier than some other brands. The fairing comes in different heights to accommodate a light-bar.... or not.

I think they have a mid and full fairing. I'm leaning towards this rack because the weight limits are 300lb static and 700lb dynamic. The materials look solid. @FxFormat what's the weight limit on your Prinsu? Are you happy with it?

I've no idea but it can easily handle a big RTT and some other things, i just use my for snowboards/skiis and kayaks. I sleep inside my vehicle like bums. Love the look though. Pretty sure these two racks use the exact same materials, so it'll be about the same.

Hit up the 4runner forums, I think these guys are 3rd gen 4R guys originally. You may find some feedback there on build quality, etc. Same guys also have a YouTube channel, BroCo Adventure Media.

Someone splain me why most of these racks have cutouts on the corners of the fairings where they touch the roof. Is that just an aesthetic, a design convenience, mounting hardware access, etc? This one is the first “flat” rack I’ve seen that is not this way to some extent.

It's because they copied another rack design and only changed a bracket or crossbar position to bring another " this is my new rack" product to market.... That corner is responsible for a majrity of the wind noise produced at 40+ mph.

I agree with @nukegoat

I’m starting work on triangular lights now and I’m gonna market them as “universal fit integrated lights” lol! Then I’ll make sure they plug into the USB output on your stereo. Finally I’ll market the designs to Pro Comp and Smittybilt and laugh all the way to the bank!
Did I go too far?

If you've posted a thought or picture Pro Comp or Smitty is already on it...

Someone complained a iKamper broke their prinsu rack on a 100. Not enough details though, may be overloaded may be not. I'm not a fan of this square hat type roof racks anyways. All crossbars on two vertically standing plates. Not sure any vender states or tested strength by putting weight vertically on crossbars.

Just what we needed. A 6th rack that looks the same. At least dissent has differentiated theirs and improved the design.

Dissent racks look nothing like this in person. Not sure why you're bringing that up.

@Kabanstva its the same style with 8020 I thought. I did say he improved the design and differentiated his.... I don’t really get your point

Yay a million 80-20 racks on the market.

I think what Roman is trying to say is that the dissent is not an “improved” 80-20 design. It’s not an 80-20 design at all. It’s all custom cut and bent aluminum. It’s substantially stronger than these 80-20 racks. In that sense I agree with him.

Not talking about the cross bars which are also different. Look at the actual frame of the dissent rack, got an angle on it. These side prinsu frames is just a flat piece of metal which is MUCH weaker.

The frame is actually very strong, as are the 80/20 crossbars. The weak point in all of these bolt together racks (IMHO) is that they are bolted together. Too many junctions. I love my Bowfin Cruiser Rack *cough, the first 100 Series 80/20 rack, cough* but it does squeek and wobble a bit when loaded up and on trail.
