Shave or Shim? (1 Viewer)

I just received my 2 piece ceramic coated headers from Man-a-Fre. Very nice!

Of course however, there is about a 2 mil difference between the thickness of the intake manifold and the header.

Is it safe to mill this ceramic coated header? Or if it is better to shim; where can I get shims that fit?

I'd shim, don't break the coating on the headers. JMO, though.

Contact Man-A-Fre and tell 'em the problem. They probably have a good solution for you.
