i had the same problem in Lubbock Texas about 3 weeks ago on my parents 1994 FZJ80. Had rain down there for about four days in a row, and driving through 3+ feet of water the day before I headed back up to Colorado showed signs of a mis-fire. I pulled the cap off the distributor, and found no water induction, pulled all the spark plugs and changed them and had the problem fixed. While I was at it I changed the wires too. It took me all day, but it was worth the effort instead of having a dead cruiser between Lubbock and Colorado Springs.:doh:
