Up for grabs is this gorgeous FJ40 that was sold to me here on Mud last November. The 40 is the work of @simps80 who lovingly brought it back from the dead and restored it with countless man hours of labor and dedication and I would imagine quite a bit of hard earned $’s.
The entire build from barn find to his sale to me is well documented if you are prepared to read all 21 pages of his build.

I believe there was also a build thread here on a Mud but I have not been able to dig it up.
Rather than me blabber on about how awesome this Cruiser is, I’ll let the build details do the talking. I also have over 500 pictures to share with interested parties.
Unfortunately, this Cruiser is not for me. I’ve loved every minute of owning it but I need a project and this is not a project. It’s done and sorted in almost every way, it needs some paint and body stuff if someone was so inclined, but I don’t do paint and body.
Right now it’s sporting almost 50000 miles plus a recent/current CA smog certificate and it will soon have a CA title.....once I figure out how to navigate around CA DMV during these COVID times.
$30K pries this 40 from my hands.
