Serpentine on a SBC FJ40 (1 Viewer)

Wondering if anyone has added the serpentine system on a early Small block Chevy FJ40 and does the mount get in the way of the battery tray or any thing else?

Also do you have to change out the balancer or does teh pully bolt to it?

I'm lookin at a setup pulled off a 90 sbc.

pic would be nice if anyone has some.

Yes it gets in the way. I made one out of angle iron and square tubing. Have decided to go to a dual battery set up. Made a compartment behind the front seats . YOu know that well, I cut it out and bolted the dual battery frame in side of that.

I have one and it does appear the battery will need to be moved. Not that that is to mee seems worth it.
