September 15th Trail Ride-Mosquito Pass (1 Viewer)

Who: All CLC members and friends
What: Mosquito Pass trail ride and day-trip
When: Saturday, September 15th 2018
Where: meet at Alta (formerly Western) convenience store on US 24 in Crystola (south of Woodland Park)

Meet between 8am and 8:30am
Depart the Alta store at 8:30am
Drive US 24 to Hartsel, then Hwy 9 north to Fairplay then toward Alma and the trailhead
plan to return to Colo Sprgs in the evening, likely after 5pm

Bring a lunch, we'll stop along the trail
Bring a jacket/parka--it might be cold and windy at elevation

I'm in, looking forward to it. Family and I will be going up early and starting our way up since we'll probably have more frequent stops with the kids in tow. You'll probably catch up to us later in the day or sooner if we get stuck somewhere

If anyone else wants to tag along Sunday, we plan on spending the night in the Frisco area and then doing Saints John trail Sunday on the way home.

I'd love to go, bit tomorrow evening is homecomming for my daughter, so I need to be around for the festivities.

Well, with the lack of participation for this weekend, I'm going to bail out and attempt to fill my muzzleloader deer tag on Saturday; I'm going to try and make the Rising Sun Rally on Sunday unless I fail to shoot a deer (Sunday is the final hunt season date for my tag).

Did Mosquito Pass on Saturday, Deer Creek and Saints John on Sunday. Both beautiful days and a great trip. Fall colors are awesome up that way. Even got to introduce the kids to some kids.
