Sensors, plugs, and hoses to finish this up (1 Viewer)

I'm just about ready to put the new block and transmission into my cruiser. I've got it on the hoist, nearly ready. Finishing up, I see a few things that I'm not recalling. Here goes.


This is the first "hole" to the top left of oil filter, forward of the knock sensor. I think it remains empty. ???

The 2nd one, is a hole, threaded I believe, forward of the rear knock sensor.

Number 3 This one is directly above the fuel line going into the fuel filter.

Number 4, what is the P/N for these 2 lines that go to the transfer case?

AND lastly, what does this plug go to? From the main harness, falls to below the starter. Probably goes to one of the sensors that maybe I'm missing.

Im pretty sure the first hole is empty usually and the second holds a bracket with a bolt... 14mm I believe... don’t quote me. Last plug looks EGR related back of upper manifold if the wire is long enough to run up there.

Pic #1, I left mine open as well prior to install. Nothing that I know of goes there.

Pic #2. I have a bolt there, perhaps for a bracket. Can't tell for sure what it would be supporting. See next post

This is my EGR test plug. 1995-1997 FZJ80 EGR Temp Sensor Test Plug Kit
There is a harness clip at the back of the intake manifold the harness clips to and that is where this ends up. I can dig up a pic for you a bit later tonight.

Yes was going to say that picture looks just like my EGR delete... good stuff!

#1 - water temp gauge sensor. On OBD1 truck it is a single wire.
#4 - Aren't those the breather lines? Any o'le rightly-sized tubing will work.
#Lastly - Could be the temp gauge sender connector on OBD2?

The sensors you’re talking about screw into the head.

Thank you for the pictures. So mine are all empty, will put bolts in them. Probably bolts to hold brackets and clamps for harness. I ran mine low outside of intake.

BINGO! I knew it was obvious. Do I recall where my tester is? No. So time to order one
