I registered for a SEMA pass just for the fun of it a couple of months ago when I got that email from Toyota.

I WON!

Just got it in the mail today. SEMA is Nov 3rd... can't go on such short notice. Unfortunatly the back of the pass says I can't transfer it.

Pass would get me in to the SEMA show for the afternoon, then up close to the FJ Cruiser in the Toyota booth, then in to a FJ Cruiser Party at the ESPN Sports Zoin in the NY-NY Casino.

Thought yall might want to see the pass:

I've a feeling that if you get into the SEMA show, it pretty much includes the #2 no matter who you are.

Toyota has never had a vehicle roped off at SEMA, like the FJ has been for every other show they've had it at.

kewl pass...mine should arrive today too then....

gonna have to talk with the travel agent tomorrow and see what I can pull off....uugh...

Woody,
Let me know what you find out. Might win the lottery between now and then and join you.

I got one as well. It kind of sucks though because they only sent one... who else is going...?

just got my flight arranged, arrive 10:08p on Wed, out at 9:20a on Saturday....burned some frequent flyer miles for this one....

with luck, I'll be met at the airport by a lovely young woman :D (or, more likely, her cruiserhead husband :flipoff2: )

Since Thurs is for the FJCruiser dealio, we'll get a place set for Friday night....

There's a thread in the Trails and Events section on people going to SEMA.

I'll be there for work from Tuesday morning to Friday afternoon.

Not likely :flipoff2:

The FJ party isn't during SEMA hours. I think it is an exclusive deal. However, there are no FJ Cruisers on site at the party. The letter says that.

I'm assuming that the "FJ Party" is a conference room towards the Vegas Hilton immediately after the show.

Normally someone will give a speach, then free drinks and finger food at the expense of having your ear bent by Toyota reps for an hour or two.

any clue to how many tickets were available? Mine was #15....curious if 50 were sent, or 100...or what?

I'd have to check my info, but IIRC the FJ Party was at the ESPN sports zone...

corrected for accuracy ;)

Haha....

Well, maybe it's different than what I was thinking. I'm not invited to the FJ party, I'm just going to SEMA for work.

Normally, though, all the major OEMs rent out conference rooms that are technically in the Hilton for "hospitality" functions.

If I was there on my own, I'd make it a game to sneak in so I could get some free booze.

Since I'm out there for work, though, I get free food and a few drinks no matter where I go.

Nope, it's bigger than that:

I had already stood corrected on the location, but... rest assured, it will be essentially the same thing at the Sports Zone instead of the Hilton.

Can't wait till you guys post some pictures....
I hope some one has a Laptop to use to up load the pic.'s

Get some of the interior with the rear seats out of the way...

Wonder if the rear seats hinge out of the way like on the Honda Element?

Have fun and be carefull...
