Seeking alternator rebuild shop (1 Viewer)

I have taken my 24V externally regulated alternator to 2 different shops here in Virginia.
One guy refused to even look at it and the other does not want to take it apart unless they know they can lay their hands on parts... their suppliers say No Go.

FJ60cam at Mosley in Memphis says he is not taking on alternator rebuilds now.

Anyone else have a suggestion?

Took my son's from a 24V Troopy to Coastal Rebuilders here. Brushes only needed to be replaced, but they didn't hesitate digging into it.
