Dare me.
I recall the pins weren’t the worst, I think I just cut mine too… had new ones in my kit. The stupid bushings were atrocious. I bought a map gas but that was disgusting. The burning and dripping plastic was out of the question. I ditched that idea fast. I found the bushings came out easily if I cut out a section w/ a chisel then hammered them out the rest of the way w/ a punch after they were throughly greased.
