The Second Fordyce trail run of the season.
Regarded by many as a tougher trail than the Rubicon.

NEW MEET TIME/LOCATION
At the meeting last night we changed the meet time and location.
New meet location/time;
Location:Gas Station at Cisco Grove
Meet: 9:00 AM
Leave: 9:30AM.

The trip was not without events. Although our group of five only experianced one exploded birfield and a jeep with some problems, there were a lot of people on the trail who suffered. Mechanically and physically. A group behind us had one dead in the water before the first creek crossing and were still thinking about continuing through.
My nephew who was well ahead of us, had a passenger suffer injuries to his hand. He took him out to Cisco Grove to an ambulance and during this period another guy in his group rolled his jeep and had to be airlifted out. Apparently. he had brake problems and rolled down and over a huge rock, flipped a couple of times and landed on his side. He broke and arm and his nose but is out of the hospital doing OK.
For myself the only thing I didn't care for, was wheeling at night with the rock lites I haven't put on yet.
