Can the handles on the center seats be removed from the hinge, I want to know about trading out just the handle on the hinge for another one. I haven't looked at the hinge yet, I am at work so 16 hours before I can, and no FSM yet. I just thought of this and wanted to ask.

Thanks for the reply, so it can just be yanked off without damage? I'm about to end my 16 hour shift and start my weekend so I'm off to spend quality minutes with the rig before running the family into the city. I hate inservice days at schools

Only potential damage is to your elbow, when it finally goes. You swapping colors or something? how 'bout the recliner hinge mod?
Hey Nakman thats exactly what I am doing, the reclining part. Mines grey and the hinges are tan, Handle swap and done.

You need to look up MOT he has a thread in the for sale section about a whole lot of cool stuff for sale that He brought from Overseas. Aparently the Japanese Demestic market has some cool stuff not offered here. Also Asia Rider out of Tieland (sp) has photos of cool stuff not offered here.
Anyway Mot is a great guy to corespond with and has great recomendations from his past costomers/friends. appartently the clear lenses are hot sellers and make your rig look cool. A bunch of folks here were talking well of the lenses. I'll let you know about the hinges when I get my pair.
You do know the third seat does recline a little bit? I just found out the other night.
Good mod for long trips, and every road trip up here is a LONG road trip.

Well, sort of... if you bought the recliner hinges from Mot then you've got the best solution, several recline positions. But Arya, there's a "free" mod where you remove one pin from your hinge, and you get 2 positions- full upright and full recline. If you've got a pillow and need to nap, the full recline is pretty sweet, but it's a little too much IMO for just driving around.

I believe ScottM was the ringmaster behind capturing all of the specifics.. we had a recliner hinge party last year and took some pics as well, but I bet they're all gone from the forum change. But if you search back, I'm sure you'll fine the post, it's pretty simple once you've got your hinge removed and start fiddling with it, it's pretty obvious what pin to remove to get it to go back further.

edit: ok here's the post but alas, no pictures http://65.219.61.46/forum/showthread.php?t=8365

I couldn't respond sooner because I couldn't stop tears from coming out of my eyes. I guess I've got at least one person fooled! :D

It's mighty nice of you to say that and I really appreciated that. ;)

I better be on a look out for gray ones since there's another guy with gray interior who is interested in them. :D
