Worth a shot. Wish I had tried that first.
some new info for an old thread. I had an extremely frayed driver seatbelt that needed re-webbing.
Long story short, Safety restore doesn’t currently have the Toyota tan color in stock, at least as of a couple days ago. Supply chain shortage and all that I am guessing.
So I found a decent used seatbelt with only a little bit of fraying and bought this on Amazon:

Used my wife’s straightening iron to apply the repair tape without even having to take the belt out of the car. Looks much better than a frayed belt, retracts great being that the material is so thin, and should hold me over until the tan color is back in stock
