Seat Belt 'Button' / Catch Missing; Buckle Falling Down Now (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

New problem...

Anyone else's seat belt 'button' / catch gone missing, causing the buckle to fall down to the ground now, making it difficult to be sitting in the seat and reach for same to buckle up?

Any thoughts on what I should do to fix same?

Needle, thread and an actual button from clothing would work?

Argh; so strange this has happened; never in another vehicle of mine.

I bought one! 2004 LX470. 247,000 miles. Clean carfax, everything works. Leaky steering rack only reported issue. Listed for $10.5k. Bought for $8.2k. Got it home and found small leak on right rear wheel (brake fluid?), crack in each CV boot; no jack or lug wrench included. Good tread, strong...
