So this white goo, its on the bulkhead, and around fender (the pic is the bonnet hinge). You have to remove it do do things like remove the fender etc. Its white (and on the inside, but I suspect its also been painted), but that could be because my 62 is 033white. Its also pretty hard, but can be removed with a screwdriver. Under the fender was similar goo, but this time black, as the parts were not painted.

What do I need to use, when I put the fenders etc back on? Can you get this stuff in white? And when you put it on, does it end up looking like from factory, or totally different, and lastly, how do you put it on (after you connect the panels, or before and let it squeeze out?

And is this the same seam sealer you use on roof sills? I have some 3M proper seam sealer, which I think I use for that!

Apologies for all the questions, and Thanks in advance to whomever can help!!!

Might have found it. something called SikaFlex 227. It comes in white, and has some video's that seem to show how it works.

You got it, Sikaflex, polyurethane.

Off topic but what 3m seem filler did you use on your gutters?
haven't used it yet. its this. 3M 08308 Heavy-Bodied Seam Sealer Cartridge - 200 ml : Amazon.com.au: Automotive - https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B000PEW41E/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'm fixing rust and will need remove the roof and replace some of the gutters, so all the old needs to come out, and this will do it. I'm still trying to figure out the exact order of treatments! between something thats anti-rust, them either primer, or sealer next and then paint? Still need to research it more, and I'm seeing some different orders of things. Would love some idea's or resources?

First clean, degrease, then anti-rust paint. Do both inside and outside. You could then use a primer. I just put the sealant straight on the anti-rust paint. Then topcoat with your final coats over it all. Then once hardened up after several weeks spray linseed oil based rust inhibitor from the inside around the perimeter.
