Hey everyone. My truck (2011 LX) has spent a lot of time parked this year (as I'm sure many others have). Where I live, throughout the summer it rains. Now when I drive my vehicle I get a scraping sound when I am turning, fast or slow, slight turn or sharp, that I can hear from the inside with the windows up. I first thought it would be rusted brake rotors, but the rotors look clean and applying the brake when I hear this sound does not change it at all.

Anyone else experience this? Any idea what it is or where to start looking? Thanks!
Andy

Rock stuck in brake shield?

How is the power steering fluid level? Pumps can make a noise whenever the steering wheel is not centered (as in turning).

It might help to get the front end up in the air (jack or lift) and with engine running (truck in park) turn the wheel and see if it's in the steering (should still make a noise if it's in the steering system).
