Yep - picked this up yesterday for $100.00 - not a bad deal if I do say so myself....

I could have made one, but the material cost would have been way over $100.00. It's a kickass design - all of the tube looks mandrel bent and the gussets look plasma cut.....but the welds are absolute bird turds!

Help me out - I'm thinking that it's a homebrew copy of a wilderness rack or something....it's rock solid.

Seats were included in the deal also - probably have to weld up some brackets to get em' in there. What are they out of?

from what little i can see, it looks like they lost the bracket, or they would not fit so they welded on some homemade job. The rest look very good. Not a wilderness as I have one of those.

Thats one nice looking rack, (hehe) and for $100, great deal!

I just don't see how the welds on the rest of the rack would pass off as professional....but then again I have no clue..

They just look like they were done by a chimp with a MIG gun!

Sweet Score!!! Rig is looking GOOD!

Thanks Trapper - These tires are pretty kickass -

Thinking about getting a couple of 62' 4.11 3rds from the scrapyard. They'll probably be adequate for the 35s?

Barely...I have a good running 2F with 35's and 4.11's but I wish I had either a 5spd or a diesel or Over/Under gears in the TC or 4.56's or all of the above.

Rather than spending money on used thirds, you might just want to install Yukon 4.56's or 4.88's

the only welds i can see are on the brackets. they look mickey mouse. the rest from a distance look good.

Nice! How about a side shot?

X2

jeverich, your Rhode Island beach cruiser is high up on my list of favorites. That thing is cool, and the rack is making it cooler! Nice score!

You could clean up the welds with an angle grinder and do some touch-up painting, no sweat.

Welds

thanks everyone - the truck, like the welds on the rack, looks good from a distance

The rust cancer is starting to set in - the PO took it to some hack bodyshop...they bondoed over all of the rust and then shot paint - WTF!

I love my truck - and taught the new GF how to drive it today. She did really well, never even stalled out! Maybe that's a sign?

Here's a side shot - I really dig the tube in front that follows the contour of the windshield.

The rig is looking sharp!! You've done quite a bit since I saw it last. That rack looks cool. Nice score. I ran into some guy at my gym who thought my rig was someone he knew down in your area. I told I think I knew exactly who's rig he was talking about.

I've got a line on an SROR bumper for the front of my rig. What is it you have on the back end of yours now?

Keep it up!
William
