Although zillions of Mud guys are using the Centerforce clutches with apparently good results, I sure wished I had more respect for those clutches. The weights on the pressure plate fingers are a bit of a sales gimmick, would be better if they worked in the opposite direction. What they do is increase holding/gripping/locking pressure as your RPM/speed increases, would be better if they created instantaneous locking pressure (off the line), then backed off as the RPM/speed increased. You need instant locking pressure to get your big tires rolling, then less pressure to keep them rolling at highway speeds. I'm thinking heavier duty/higher pressure clutches without the weights would be the better deal ???

My first rodeo with the CF clutches. Hopefully they suit my set up and needs. Not looking get on Ultimate Adventure… but I like the idea of building 40 that! 😂
