Hello everyone - I am starting a new thread because the other ones about the Scion head units are not directly related to my question.
After looking at Nakman's nice Scion head unit install I'm motivated to do the same, and am in the process of buying one.

I'm a Sirius customer and want to add the extra Sirius satellite radio tuner (for Pioneer) to this system (part number is SIR-PNR1).
The problem I have is that when you look that tuner up on the internet it says its compatible with the following Pioneer units:

Compatible Pioneer decks include AVH-P5700DVD, AVH-P6600DVD, AVH-P7500DVD, AVIC-D1, AVIC-N2, DEX-P9, DVH-P5000MP, FH-P4200MP, FH-P5000MPwS('5','1')

Also compatible with DEH-P8MP, DEH-P47MP, DEH-P77MP, DEH-P80MP, DEH-P470MP, DEH-P670MP, DEH-P770MP, DEH-P860MP, DEH-P960MP, DEH-P3700MP, DEH-P4700MP, DEH-P6700MP, DEH-P7700MP, DEH-P8600MP, DEH-P9600MP

Do you guys think this will work with the factory Scion/Pioneer unit. Aren't these cables/inputs usually fairly universal with one manufacturer? Anyone have any knowledge about this?

Thanks!

A Scion dealer on Ebay has Scion/Sirius tuners for $329 that are supposed to be Scion compatible, the Pioneer one is around $100. It would sure be nice if the cheaper one would work.........:D
