Hi All, When media blasting the tub, what did you do with the Vin plate. Remove it or cover it up.
I have everything ready to blast and I'm trying to decide if I should drill out the rivets and reinstall when done. or just try to cover it up. At this point I have done everything but the Tub and haven't had any problems with the sand blessing. Just made sure the guy doing the job doesn't point directly at the item and only hit's it at 45 degrees.

My vote is on drilling the rivets and reinstalling after paint. We restored the existing plate by painting the entire plate black and then carefully sanding to leave it in the engraving(it somehow was reinstalled backwards)
