No rust. 232k miles. A bit rough around the edges
I bought this truck recently with the intentions of swapping the axles into a different truck I was going to buy, but that sale fell through. So… here we are.
The great:
All lockers engage properly as does the Hi / Lo lever
The previous owner said the engine was rebuilt recently, but no receipt of course. There has definitely been work done to the engine as there is a new water pump, and one can see new gaskets, etc.
Straight, rust free body
Clean Carfax
Believe it or not, the power antenna works as do the power mirrors, sun roof, lights, etc.
New brakes
New Battery
New radiator
It’s been in California all of its life
It starts right up and runs/drives great
3’rd row seating
2" Receiver Hitch
All weather cargo mat
The not as great:
Pulling engine code 55 (Communication with knock sensor has failed). This is typically a wiring issue.
Significant clear coat peeling
Dash has some cracking
Hood and rear gate lift cylinders are shot (new struts on order)
Driver’s power seat sometimes wants to work and sometimes not, depends on the day
AC needs to be recharged
$6300 OBO. My price flexibility goes down as items get fixed. The main reason for selling is lack of parking and two other projects that also take up parking. Thanks for reading this far -Chuck
