Safe spot to drill driver side firewall (1 Viewer)

I'm trying to feed about 1/2 inch of bundled wires from the inner driver side pillar to the engine compartment to my bussmann fuse box. Can anyone tell me where it's safe to do a 3/4" cut out in this area? I'll of course have a rubber boot to put on place. Thank you

So for anyone that may need this in the future. Just above plug closest to fender it's safe to drill.

I usually just poke through the factory boots to add more wires. I know both sides of my LC accommodated quite a bit more than what was already there. Saves blasting new holes. Still good to know that's a possible spot on a 2001.

I've done that on the driver side for a small wire, but this bundle was too big I would of slaughtered the existing boot. I'll post pics after new boot installed its clean look waterproof, and large enough to not strangle power lines, just like the stock OEM.

Carefully make a hole in the big rubber wire harness cover on the passenger side. There is a lot of room there.

Well so you guys know what I meant not sure how to correct the title for future use. I would normally make an incision in the exiting boot but this harness was too thick. Anyways point being that's a safe spot for anyone looking to do the same for an inch wide harness. I'll post a pic of the finish product with an aftermarket boot.

@savirc I have a 04 so it may be different, but can you tell me what was on the other side of that hole? Did you have to remove a bunch of stuff in the cabin? Here is what I see, its hard to tell what's behind that big white box.

Did you just fish around back there until you found some wires?
