On the ride home from the shop today she turned 50K miles. Bought the truck last July 4th with 34K, in a year I have put almost half as many miles as the original owner put on it in 8 years! :crybaby:

You'll catch me in two years at that rate. I've put less than 7k on mine after having bought it in Dec of 2003. I have 4 vehicles and each one averages about 4k a year.

Wooh! You can go 44 miles (per your trip meter) and your gas gauge is still at the top?!
44 miles usually means I'm at 3/4 of a tank!

Gee stop whining, at 50,000 miles that truck has not been broken it yet. That is still young and still has a lot of life ahead.

That thing still has new car smell. My new job requires me to drive 75,000 miles a year and I plan on doing it all in the V8J80 (It's at 230k or so now). It's set up for expedition use, so I couldn't really ask for a more comfortable or better ride, especially since many of those miles will be spent offroad in unimproved conditions and muddy terrain. I want to see how many miles I can rack up on the chassis. If I need to replace a 350 or two, it's cheap and easy. That's the beauty of a 350 conversion, if the engine wears out, throw down $300 bucks at the wrecking yard and buy a low mile mill, or buy a crate firebreather for less than a 3FE/1FZFE rebuild. The A440F should last forever, so it's mainly bearings, brakes, and seals that will need attention. Piece of cake baby. LandCruisers rule! :D

Your CDL should be there, the F/R locks are on the other side.

No, mine is right next to the F/R lights

CDL / Front Locker / Rear Locker all right next to each other.

Not that this is a big deal, i just thought it was odd.

My rig is a 93, the 95+ must be different.

    Curious, anyone else?

    Boo hoo

    :crybaby:

My late 1984 (1985) BJ73 arrived in Canada with 83,000 kms.

A year later it has 111,000kms on it.

So I put 28,000 kms on it in one year (17,400miles).
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    I walk to work.

The BJ73 is one of four in my "fleet"
I drive over 70,000kms/year in the work trucks (43,500 mi)

My idle speed is about there with the AC on... Yes it gets "a little hot" here in late July.

Oh and mine has 151,000 plus...but I don't carry a digicam around for when the odometer flipped over 150,000
