well, it seems someone caught me at a weak moment.

yesterday i was walking by my HZJ75 and thnking to myself, "when was the last time i drove you?" i couldn't remember and i felt bad. i hate it when a truck sits abandoned, esp one that has treated me so well.

shortly there after i got approached by email by a gent about the same truck.
so i called him up and setup a meeting today at noon to discuss the unit. i had all morning to think it over and i came to the conclusion if all the truck was to do is sit there it might as well go to a good home, a place where it will be appreciated and looked after. i know this gent very well and he really does look after his cruisers so that part was taken care of.
after sitting down with him i felt comfortable enough to start talking the mods he wanted to do and all was worked out.
i guess it is a go so the HZJ75 will be heading for a new home the end of the month.
Paul, you are getting a kick ass truck. congrates.

i just had to tell someone, i figured this board will understand the sadness i am feeling but at the same time the relief in knowing he won't be sitting collecting dust any longer. i know this is one truck i will shed a tear when it leaves...

    cheers

oh no! that was an awesome truck, but you do have that nice pz sitting there.

did the 45 box go with the hz or is it removed for the pz?

you are in the business. so I know you can find another. Next time it wont be a 75 series. it will be a decent 79. Then you can lift a coiled truck and put 35's under it.

But sad anyhow.... glad it went to an cruiserhead.

Good home makes a difference eh...felt that way with Blue.

Just wait till red goes on the block in a few months. I think I am going to insure it soon so I can drive it for the rest of the summer...then say goodbye.

You can console yourself with having a funky project on the go with the PZ...

yeah, Wayne, I hear you. It's amazing what kind of emotional attachment we can grow for something as (apparently) inanimate as a vehicle. If you don't drive it, then you feel like you are neglecting an old friend.
