Has anyone heard of putting the Lexus RX xenon(HID) headlights and balast into a LX?

Hoser retro fitted some projectors and ballasts into his LX. I dont remember what they were from.
I think a cheaper and equally effective solution would be to do the JB Weld mod on the stock projectors and then get a set of HIDs from DDM or something like that. The cut-off and performance is really good, even compared to factory HID setups and it would cost you under $100 for the HID kit, JB Weld, and a relay harness.
