No joke, pretty sad to see....... glad I live in AZ where I can leave mild steel in my back yard for years and hardly see any patina 
Mild surface rust........ it’ll buff out
That back door was cursed.
My money says that rear door skin was replaced at some point. There's nowhere near that amount of rust on any of the other panels.
The only other rust I can see in the pics is on the bottom pinch weld running along the rocker panel (common area) and all around the windshield (top leading roof edge and A pillars) due to a bad glass replacement job.
