Anyone know of a place in central ar that would be willing to cut out some rust and weld in new sheet metal? I have a spot on the rear ended of my 60 where the tailgate attaches that’s in need of repair and I’d like to get it fixed before laying down new carpet etc. And yes, I already have another tailgate to replace this one.

I got new sheet metal for my FJ40 from CCOT, and welded it in myself.

A really good machine and knowing what settings to use are 80% of it. The technique will come after that.

Very true! I bought a Miller 120 volt wire welder a few years ago and practiced with it before I started on the Cruiser. It worked well.
