i recently had the rust on my car "repaired." it had body rot along the molding of the windsheild on the top corner passenger side. it was bad enough to create a hole and i left the hole there for months before my temporary fix. i was wondering where the water is that got into that hole. is it just sitting in the body of my car? is it going to cause more rust later in the body?

The water is probably somewhere in your passenger foot pan (Under the carpet). Water almost always rusts a vehicle where it collects. Chances are that the water has since evaporated. I would lift the carpet up to make sure you dont have rust soup brewing under the carpet.
