Rust concerns on '16 LC from PA

Living where I do, I wouldn’t worry about it, but if I lived in Arizona, I wouldn’t touch anything with the least bit of rust on it. Why would you, if you have the option? If you’re serious, have cash, move quickly, don’t dawdle. Good ones move fast (even before the current car market silliness).

Pass on rust but I'm from Texas and spoiled in that regard, but a definite hard pass on the price alone.

I'm from PA, so I have a lot more tolerance to rust than most of us.

But that's too rusty for the miles. My 13 LX is less rusty (although I do FF it once a year).

Being from western PA I can say that I would not buy a PA used car, ever. Not only is there an insane amount of salt, the roads are just complete garbage. A friend of mine had his right front wheel torn completely off of his car last winter going across a bridge that had a hole in it. I think MOAB is easier than the PA turnpike. Now if the vehicle is from eastern PA and wasn't driven in the winter then you may have a decent vehicle. Most of us would have winter beaters that were just complete POS vehicles to keep our nice vehicles from being destroyed in the winter. But looks like that is not the case with this one, hard pass. PA is the devil lol

Pa salts the crap out of the roads … I have winter beaters , you pay to much for these vehicles to have them turn into rust buckets . People would complain at my uncles Ford dealership about rust , I remember one service guy saying the same truck down south does not have rust , basiclly told the guy if he did not drive the truck in the salt it would not rust … LOL
That salt brine solution is the big problem , I lived out west and they would use ash and sinders instead of salt .
Can’t have anything nice in the winter up in the northeast .
Buy new or buy down south or west .

Keep an eye on the smaller Toyota Dealerships in AZ, I found my one owner black/terra 2016 in Show Low AZ for 55k with 46k miles. I had called on a white 2016 with 57k miles when the black one came in for a trade in on a 2021 HE.

Patience is extra difficult when supply is at conflict with demand - (and desire!)
