in my never ending quest to keep the rig rust -free, noticed there is some rust on the metal of the running boards, where the plastic cap touches it. going to POR it. the plastic seems to be held in w/ clips, but when they are compressed, it still doesn't want to budge. before i start using serious leverage and break that plastic thought i'd ask if anyone ever took them apart before? is glue used, etc..? thanks.
then, i've looked but not found if someone has id'd the bumper color (the gray) for the 96-97? meaning, at autozone or such?
