From KCRA 3 in Sac. Wrights lake area at 7000 feet.
Snowing again today.
The Springs are at 6150 feet and the placer county side of the trail runs up above 7000 feet.
The Loon side will be the only option except for extreme rigs/operators.

Those were a friend’s photos. They went in to Buck Island. No truck tracks but I’d expect Jim Job and/ or Cruzilla to change that soon! Still snowing.

My eye-crometer says that's 10' of snow on the bridge.
~4’ of snow melt per month is doable
That’ll be about 1.5 to 2 inches a day. Totally doable! I think TLCA should invest in a truck mounted flamethrower~4’ of snow melt per month is doable
You’re going to have to wait a while before your melt starts. Did I mention still snowing?!

I’ve been in traffic on Cadillac Hill. Everyone exiting the entire trail out through Loon on the same day would be too much fun!
This is something that I think we will need to really think about
because in the past once we get a group to the springs. Our trail lead responsibility is basically over even though my groups have always stayed together even exiting on Sun . Getting everyone back out to loon is a little bigger task . Also at least for me I need to think of Fuel. Not sure the range of my 40 yet
