Replacing manifold gasket and noticed a couple small imperfections in the gasket itself. It's the SOR graphite gasket, for reference.

while that gasket is in ok enough shape to use, i wouldn't use that type of gasket.
Why? I didn't resurface because manifold was in spec as far as flatness. I didn't bother with the block because I wasn't going to remove it anyway. Is it just a matter of OEM quality or what? Too late now, but if it lasts 100k vs 200k that's still 20 years at the rate I put miles on it and better than the blown out one I replaced.
 
That gasket in your pic is the SOR version of the Remflex. Be careful and torque to the REMFLEX or SOR Torque recommendations (20-25 ft/lbs), not the OE gasket specs.
