RTH Please / Fuel Sock 1997 (1 Viewer)

Hey folks. Just put in a new fuel gauge sending unit to repair low fuel light constant ON condition. Float was fine - little sending unit for low fuel light went bad. Part #83320-69055 for 1997 if anybody needs it.

Have on hand replacement fuel sock part #23217-16490. Pulled the old one to replace, but the new one will not go on. New one measures .410 inside diameter. Old one measures .430. Anybody else run into this?

Gonna stick the old one back on if nobody posts in the next bit. Thanks!

Yep - confirmed part number already. Old one was tight. Don't wanna hammer the thing on. Temps are mid 60's. Not too cold.
