Was doing knuckle rebuild and got a phone call and went auto pilot. Installed new knuckle bearing races upside down and no lip to hit to remove. How f—ked am I? I have no idea what to do.

Drive it out and order a new bearing. I think you'll damage the race face getting it out.
How do i drive it out? I have no lip to put a punch on.

I am sure you can get a sharp chisel to bit into the race.
I have been trying with a chisel/punch set. I can get it to grab anything

You’re not the first to do this. Might take some searching but theres other threads about this.

Can you get a socket in there biger than the id of the race?
Ok man I really didn’t think this was gonna work but I figured out if you kinda cock driving the socket it, it bits in better. Races appear to be ok with no marring, ok to use?

I think you'll be OK...

I'd run 'em

Look OK to use in my opinion. If there was an impact spot where the rollers travel that can cause a localized hard spot (Brinelling). That could be a problem with a high speed rotating bearing like a wheel bearing but not with the trunnion bearings.

I'd use them. These are NOT a high speed bearing that gets full rotational use. They operate through about a 120° range is all anyway.

Ended up running them. 1/2 of the knuckle rebuild is done. Passenger side tomorrow.
