Mine was similar to OTRAMM's video.
I got the splines lined up and placed the outboard shaft's end against my pectoral muscle (truck firmly jacked on the frame) and nudged it in with the weight of my torso 3 times to get it perfectly seated with the 'pop'. Was an OEM pair.
Got blue between the chest and the shoulder after ~6 punches (3 per side) but that worked out for me.

Inboard shaft has to be close to perfectly straight, it's a long rod getting into a long tube with tight tolerances.

When setting the inner C-clip with grease to hold in place on inner axle of FDS assembly. Make sure open end of C-clip (snap ring) down. Also make sure it's not riding high or low on axle. Either will make more difficult to install.
Use the in out action of inner CV of FDS, to pop in axle into diff and set the C-clip..

Watch, and save your chest. Grease the inner lip of seal, I also grease the inner axle and inner area of axle seal set in.
