My friend Shain Chapman(co-owner of Katemcy also an attorney who knows everyone out there) lives in my hood and I've been texting him about the burn ban. Forest service says yes, but the county judge has not issued a ban yet. I think we still operate under the pretense we can have a fire.

I'm leaving Thursday no later than noon from the Lakeway area, taking the south route on 71. Anyone is welcome to caravan with me. I'll be in my 60 with the Scamp in tow....safe to say we won't be breaking any speed records

Burn ban looks pretty serious... Can anyone out there confirm if a metal pit is okay? My guess is no, since they specifically call out welding and commercial BBQ.
