To those of you smarter than me (most), I need help with a part number or replacement option please.

The roof sticker strip things that were originally stuck to my roof were cracked and sun rotten, so I removed them when I put the rack on. This summer I'm going to be removing my roof rack and going back to a naked roof and wanted to replace those roof strip things. (So if you're in Northern CO and want to buy a gamiviti rack, hit me up).

Have any of you replaced yours? Does Toyota sell an OE replacement? Or is there an aftermarket option available?

It seems like it's pretty much a rubberized plastic, which I'm sure could come in a roll and be cut to size, but I have no idea where I might find something like that. Thoughts?

The four strips in my picture below are what I'm referring to, if my terrible explanation wasn't clear.

Roof drip moldings?

I think he's talking about the pads under the roof rack feet.

If you mean the four 1/2 roof-long strips I think I see on your roof, there aren't any like that on our '03. You sure yours are OEM?

If you're talking about these, I'd think twice about putting them back based on this: Roof Rusting Through - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/roof-rusting-through.1257197/

Consensus seems to be they might be port installed, I certainly don't have them on my 99 LX.
Thanks man, those were exactly what I was referring to. Given @e9999's reply about not being on his 03, I bet you're right about those being port installed. Seeing those photos, I think I'll steer clear and run it without, even though rust isn't much of an issue where I'm at. Really appreciate the reply!

I had those 4 rubber strips running front to back on my 2000 Landcruiser, I suspect this was port installed. I recently had some windshield rust repaired that required painting the roof as well, and they removed the rubber strips in prepping the roof (they were just put on with adhesive). I decided not to replace these rubber strips (I couldn't find a part number, and there are other posts about rust under these strips).

However, I also have Thule square cross bars on my roof rack, and after the paint job, the roof rack is noticeably noisier??? The cross bars are in exactly the same position (as far as I can tell), but the noise is louder (a lot louder). I wondering if those rubber strips helped to break up wind? I can't figure out anything else that would be adding to the noise?

I'll probably look for other ways to quiet the roof rack down...

IIRC, there was a TSB for roof rack noise... says to check the crossbars for correct orientation. Apparently, they can be installed backwards. You can also push the OE bars all the way to the rear for reduced noise.

For your Thule square bars, you can spiral wrap a bungee cord around it and it'll reduce wind noise.

Edit: This would probably work but it's glossy...

I'm also curious about a solution for this...

I have a Gamiviti Rack and feet and the channels are open except for the two windshield pieces...
with one of those being warped.

I have to think there is a solution that is not OEM and available by the foot.

Harbor Freight maybe? JCWhitney? Carr McMaster? Some trim/seal specialists?

If I find something, I'll post back here.
