I did a cursory search, and though I found several threads on replacing them I didn't find any threads about keeping us from having to replace them. What's the best way to keep those suckers on? I've have two different car washes knock them off, and at $90/pop it's turning into some very expensive car wash trips.

Cool, good answer...I've also lost a rear one from a windy day.

Just use some RTV sealant or something that won't create a permeant bond incase you need to remove them one day.

If all of the little tabs are in place and not compromised in some way I don't see how a stiff breeze would knock them off. Automatic car washes on the other hand are notorious for causing damage on all sorts of pieces, use at your own risk, IMO.

RTV sounds good.

I wire-tied them in place from underneath so at least if one comes loose - it wont fly off.
